Nature inspires me in so many ways. I can become speechless watching a sunset, spotting a frosty leaf laying on the ground, a butterfly sitting on a flower or observing nature in the spring awakening after a long winter.
No matter which project I have going on, nature is (almost) always my inspiration. I find it in my paintins, silkscreens, litographys, photos, etchings or ceramics.
Looking forward to spring and all of those lovely ferns bursting out in all there green energetic beauty. One of my favorite spring things! Do you not agree?
The ceramic bowl in these pictures measures approx. 50 cm long, 8 cm high and 30 wide. I just love it! I have used green stains in the fern pattern, and in side is a experiment with copper and black. The result was a lovely surprise! I will be making more of these servingbowls, and will be making several items in this fern series; for sure cups, bowls and plates. Let me know if you are interested in having one of these objects in your home. They will be for sale.
